The Hotel

Anna Maria Beach Resort has undergone a full renovation makeover. This amazing transformation of the former Bluewater Beach Resort is now an upscale deluxe beach resort complete with 31 suites, oversized swimming pool, lounge areas, and spa.

If you’re looking to just relax, unwind and chill by the pool or beach? then this is the ideal hotel for you.

The location of this hotel couldn’t be any better either Anna Maria Beach Resort is located just off Gulf Dr in Holmes Beach right on the oceanfront.

Anna Maria is fully equipped with everything you would ever need to relax, from beach lounges & umbrellas to corn hole games & outdoor grills.

The amenities and resort features are amazing and are certainly worth making the most of.

I highly recommend taking advantage of the resort activity rentals as well, there are so many fun things to do such as paddle boarding, snorkeling & bike riding. These are all available to organize at the front desk, before or during your stay.

The views of the ocean from this hotel are incredible. Each room on the top floor has a private patio that looks out onto the beach as well as easy beach access for suites on the bottom floor.

Make sure you have your camera ready as this is the perfect spot to watch & take photos of the beautiful sunset.

The Rooms

Anna Maria Beach Resort offers many different rooms. We stayed in the deluxe king room with gulf views and it was amazing.

I requested a bottom floor suite so we could have easy beach access, this turned out to be great as were the 3rd from the front so we had beautiful views of the beach and easy beach access.

All rooms are fitted with full kitchenettes, this includes a microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Another great feature that I loved about the rooms was the block out curtains and tinted windows.

There are 8 different rooms to choose from, the gulf view queen room, resort view queen room, deluxe king gulf view, deluxe king resort, gulf front suite, gulf view suites, resort view suites & the Anna Maria luxury suite.

The largest suite offers plenty of lounging space, kitchen, 2 large bathrooms, and an oversized shower.

No matter which room you choose you will have free WiFi, daily housekeeping service & complimentary parking per room. Everything to make you feel right at home.

The Location

Anna Maria Island consists of 3 beautiful beach cities, the city of Anna Maria, Holmes Beach & Bradenton Beach. Anna Maria Beach Resort is right in the heart of Holmes Beach its full of fun attractions & delicious local cuisine.

Two of my favorite restaurants were the The SandBar located right on the beach and the Waterfront, which was hands down my favorite restaurant we went to. The atmosphere was so fun, and the cocktails were delicious.

The shopping in Anna Maria has that old Florida beach charm to it, with cute local clothing boutiques, keepsakes shops, and souvenirs.

If you’re up for a little exploring, I recommend renting a bike this is the best way to see the beautiful island and its cute charm & pretty pastel homes. A great spot to ride to is the Anna Maria Island Creamery & Bakery for some killer ice cream.
