Today I wanted to share with you my top travel-friendly beauty products that hold up well in the heat and keep me feeling like a golden goddess all summer long.

Nothing makes me feel more amazing and happy than having that dewy sun-kissed glow. When it comes to nailing the perfect beach babe look, switching up your beauty products that are more lightweight and waterproof can really do the trick.

Below are my travel-friendly beauty products that will hydrate & protect your skin. Enhance your natural glow & keep your makeup from melting away on those long summer days.

When it comes to makeup & skincare I’m pretty low key and minimal. Less is always more in this scenario.

To avoid feeling like your makeup is melting away, try wearing just the basics, It’s all about that soft glowy skin, subtle flush, and natural beauty.

Makeup

Lightweight Foundation

Lately, I have been completely obsessed with Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Nude Foundation.

It’s so light & watery, it feels like your not wearing anything at all (which is exactly what you want in the summer).

This melt-proof foundation gives off such a beautiful light even coverage with a satin finish, which I absolutely love.

Bronze Cream Contour

During the summer months, I like to switch out my mattes for creams.

This includes my bronzer. The Clinique Chubby Stick is still my favorite when it comes to bronzing and contouring for a nice tanned glow. I also love the Chanel Soleil Tan Bronze Universal.

Liquid Highlighter

Nothing screams more like summer than a golden shimmery highlighter.

I love mixing my L’Oreal Liquid Highlighter with my foundation. I find that it really makes your skin look radiant & glowy without being over the top shiny.

Natural Lip & Cheek Tint

Wearing heavy lipstick in the blistering heat can be a bit too much so why not opt for a light lip tint instead.

I recently picked this up and I’m completely obsessed, I’ve been wearing it every day. It’s the Tower 28 BeachPlease Tinted Lip & Cheek Balm in the color Golden Hour.

This beauty product is amazing, it really highlights my natural lip color plus it also doubles as a soft peachy blush. I also use it on my eyes as an eye shadow I love it that much.

Waterproof Mascara

The Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara is great for the summer heat as it doesn’t budge and can be worn for hours on end.

I really like this mascara as I don’t find the brush to be too big or clumpy.

One coat of this and you’re good to go. Plus it comes in a travel-friendly mini size, perfect for throwing in your day bag.

Waterproof Setting Spray

A good setting spray will help keep your makeup locked in place all day long.

This one from NYX is super affordable, travel-friendly & has a beautiful dewy like finish which I love.

A few spritzes here and there keeps my makeup at bay plus it keeps me cool and refreshed on those long travel days.

Skincare & Hair

Hydrating Moisturizer

My favorite body moisturizer for the summertime is the Brazilian Bum Bum Body Cream by Soldejenerio.

It’s super-rich and moisturizing & keeps your skin super soft and hydrated. I love using this as part of my nighttime routine right before I head out for dinner as it gives off this light shimmery look.

Body Bronzer

If you want to give your natural tan a bit more of a boost you can always lather on a nice layer of body bronzer.

My go-to for summer vacations are the Loving Tan Bronze Shimmer Luminous Cream and Isle of Paradise Disco Tan.

Blotting Paper

Great for dabbing away shine & grease from your face are the Tatcha blotting papers.

The papers contain abacus leaf, which works wonders at soaking up excess oil. It’s also biodegradable & all-natural which is perfect for travelers with sensitive skin.

After Sun Gel

After a day in the sun, you’ll want to soothe & hydrate your skin. The key ingredient for this is aloe vera, pick yourself up a bottle of after-sun gel or spray.

This will help soothe irritated skin, calm redness, and keep your skin nice & hydrated. Hot Tip! Keep it in the fridge for extra coolness.

Lightweight Sunscreen

It wouldn’t be a summer beauty essentials list if I didn’t mention good old sunscreen.

I like to make sure my sunscreen is lightweight & not too oily and has a minimum of SPF30 to keep me protected. Taking extra care of your skin when you travel couldn’t be any more important.

I find the First Aid Beauty Weightless Liquid Mineral Sunscreen to be really good plus it’s reef-safe so that’s a huge tick from me.

Perfume Oil

Mini roll-on perfume oils are great for hot days. They are a little different from your normal spray perfume which I like.

I love this one from World Market as it’s infused with real rose petals, peony, and bergamot. It comes in an easy travel-friendly rollerball so it’s great for on the go.

Texture Spray

I will be honest with you I don’t typically spend a lot of time on my hair.

It’s hot and I’m most likely to go swimming anyway! So I’m all about those effortless beach waves that take 5mins to do.

I like to run a quick curling iron through my hair and top it off with some texture spray from OUAI or the Herbivore Sea Salt Mist and BAM! Your effortless waves are done.
